Livelihood Intern

POSITION SUMMARY - This position is based in Monsterrado County, Liberia
The Programme Managers would supervise the BOP interns and work closely with program staff. Their primary responsibility will be supporting CI staff's day-to-day communication operational work. They will assist in other program implementation work, including program assistance functions, such as documenting success stories, developing communication plans, and monitoring the plan's implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in the implementation of livelihood initiatives in CI Liberia.
- Conduct a comprehension assessment to identify livelihood needs, opportunities, and potential constraints in the project communities.
- Support in the development of livelihood plans, and women entrepreneurs’ business plans.
- Ensure plans are adaptable and responsive to the community involving circumstances.
- Work with supervisors to support in collaborate with partners and other stakeholders to enhance livelihood programs.
- Collect, and support in the analysis of data related to livelihood-related projects.
- Document, disseminate, success stories, lessons learned, and best practices from livelihood projects in CI Liberia.
- Support communities to identify and improve their alternative livelihood initiatives.
- Perform any other task assigned to them by the supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Experience in basic Microsoft or computer skills
- Willingness to travel outside of Montserrado or hard-to-reach terrains/ communities.
- Flexible to work at most eight hours daily per week.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Working towards the completion of a Bachelor's degree or recent graduate (not exceeding 3 months post-graduation) in development studies, agriculture, environmental science, biological, or any other related studies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and web researching skills.
- Have excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team, prioritize, manage, and complete tasks before deadlines.
- Ability to mainstream DEI and safeguards in day-to-day work.
- Has a minimum of 2.5 GPA
